HealthWyse is a privately-owned company that was founded in 1998. The company provides an integrated clinical and financial system for Home Health, Hospice and Private Duty agencies. The solution includes Intake, Scheduling, Point-of-care, Telephony and Financial software. The solution is provided through a hosted data center, allowing an agency to minimize their investment in local IT requirements.  

The HealthWyse solution, is comprised of several product modules. OfficeWyse and FinanceWyse are Windows-based administrative and financial/billing applications. PalmWyse is a point-of-care product that operates on Pocket PCs running Windows Mobile devices, or on Windows XP based laptops, tablets or notebook. CallWyse is an  telephony documentation system for home health aides, attendants and volunteer staff. ReportWyse is an optional custom report generating tool. The HealthWyse solution contains hundreds of available standard reports, in addition to ReportWyse.  In addition, the solution contains a number of Enterprise level capabilities that are available throughout all product modules including Secure Messaging, Company/Organizational Structure, Employee Compliance, User Security, Time and Labor Management, Workflow Management by Exception and Data Export.

More than 50 home care providers use one or more HealthWyse products in approximately 25 different states. Most have implemented the applications using the company’s hosted data center; some install onto their own servers. Nearly two-thirds of the company’s customers are large, not-for-profit, Medicare-certified home care agencies. Approximately half are free-standing but 40% are hospital-based. Single and multi-site organizations are evenly split and slightly more than half offer a single business line, typically traditional home nursing and therapies.
